Your Profile

As a Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager you will have a strong educational background, educated to degree level, having graduated (or expecting to graduate with this year) with a 2.1 or above, and strong A levels across the board. To be a successful candidate for the role of Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager you will be articulate, well presented, client facing and have excellent communication skills. The background of a candidate applying for Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager will be a consistent one, you will not have job hopped and you must have a sales focus to your experience. The ideal Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager will be bright, enthusiastic, personable, warming, tenacious and money hungry. As a Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager a can do attitude, a passion for learning and success are real pre requisites. You must have a valid driving license to apply for this role (although you will be given a company car)

The Role

The role of Graduate Trainee Field Sales Account Manager is a varied one. You will start your training period based in the company head office in Hemel Hemp-stead, where you will understand the business and products as well as the needs of your clients. You will shadow more senior Account Managers out on the field to gain first hand experience from some of the most reputable Managers in the industry. After completing your training and proving your understanding and ability you will have your own \'patch\' in the field to cover. Depending on your location this will be either London or the Home Counties. You will be office based for 2 days a week, where the sales team get together to discuss their plans and book your meetings for the rest of the week when you are in the field. You will be visiting Clients ranging from Investment Banks to factories, giving you a great understanding of the commercial world.

This position requires a character with a high level of professionalism with the ability to manage their own diary.
